Mileage?

Does the trail really run 440 miles along the parkway? According to the NPS, only about 65 miles of trail are currently open, that being in four separate sections. It seems that the full 440 mile distance is planned at some point, but perhaps a distinction should be made regarding the proposed length and currently available length. Rephrased the 440 mile comment to point to the 444 mile Parkway and that the Trail follows sections of the Trace.SBaker43 (talk) 01:38, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
